Becoming an LGBTQ+ Ally In The Workplace | Taught By Mason Aid @ The Hatchery | Columbia | Missouri | United States

Happy pride month, friends! Join us and Mason Aid to learn more about how you can be a better ally to the LGBQ+ community within your workplace and your day to day life.

The LGBTQ+ community is vast and diverse, and providing competent service to this vulnerable population is very important. Knowing the right language to use makes a dramatic impact on the experience LGBTQ+ individuals have as they work with your organization.

From this session, you’ll be able to learn:

  • basic lgbtq+ info
  • why your business needs to be inclusive
  • how small steps can make a HUGE difference
  • what those steps are and how to implement them!

Free for members | $10 For non-members | $5 childcare for non-members

About Our Speaker
“I talk about gay stuff.

And I keep it real.

These conversations have to be had, but they don’t have to be awkward.

I stumbled into the entrepreneurial world and found myself lost among the groups full of “Hey Ladies!” and realized the entrepreneurial world is full of people who want to make a difference, but don’t always know how. Let me help you know how!”
