You have 24 hours to build a team and working MVP (minimum viable product) for a new hybrid app.
Regional Economic Development Inc (REDI) and the Missouri Innovation Center (MIC) have teamed up to host a hackathon focused on hybrid apps. We love that they can be a quick way to build a quality MVP to test a new concept.
Awards will be allocated based on finished projects and a clear need to reach a specific milestone.
Some food and refreshments will be provided by our partners & sponsors, but feel free to bring anything you need to make it through the hackathon.
Hybrid development combines the best (or worst) of both the native and HTML5 worlds. We define hybrid as a web app, primarily built using HTML5 and JavaScript, that is then wrapped inside a thin native container that provides access to native platform features.
