REDI celebrated a ribbon cutting April 21 to showcase the newly remodeled, restructured and renamed REDI Innovation Hub. The ribbon cutting culminated a nearly year-long effort to improve the facility for entrepreneurs with new collaborative furnishings, semi-private offices, storage, improved audiovisual cababilities and other amenities. REDI investor Hawthorn Bank provided generous funds for the new Hub furnishings, and Emery Sapp & Sons donated a 65-inch monitor. Innovation Hub client Scout & Nimble provided design and project management.
The Innovation Hub also now provides a structured series of business development and support programs to help entrepreneurs succeed in growing their startups and creating jobs for Columbia and Boone County.
